Daphne Anastassiou Mustakis was born in the seaside town of Viña del Mar, Chile. As the daughter of Greek immigrants with strong ties to the arts, she attended college in Greece before returning to the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile where she received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Since 2006, the desire to understand human nature has been a motivating force in her work. She is an interdisciplinary and transformative artist who speaks to both intellect and intuition. In 2000, she published We Are Love, a book that explores ways to free people of limiting ideas, to trust their own creativity, and to live life to its fullest.  Anastassiou has exhibited her work in Athens, London, Paris, New York, Madrid, Buenos Aires, Shanghai, Dubai, Italy, and Cairo. Since 2011, she has been represented in Paris by the Galerie Colette Dubois, and her work is in private collections in several countries.

Daphne currently lives in Chile where she continues to develop her visual art through painting, sculpture and animation.
