Statementsby the artist
My artistic work is related to autobiography, affectivity, the connection with the inner world and the link of my existence with a whole.
Its creative matrix is configured from my life experience, meditation practices, the relationship with nature, silence, self-knowledge and openness to the new; processes that intersect and emerge in different media: music, writing, drawing, painting and sculpture.
In the act of painting I seek to awaken consciousness and go beyond the structure of the mind; it is a creative and energetic experience, a space of discovery and intuition, of the non-rational and an approach to the magical. My pictorial work possesses movement and rhythm, it calls to activate the feeling. I connect spontaneously with the composition of a work, the colors flow from within me, images in absolute figuration or completely diluted can be seen in it. As my representation goes beyond the logic of form, it is an invitation to exploration.
In my artistic practice I have delved into painting and sculpture, permanently experimenting with different media and techniques. From 2014 to date I’ve been developing a series of sculptures that have their origin in the pictorial, thus sculpture appears as an elastic projection of painting.
